Update: 31/Atlas

They are here. Our petty human life and death squabbles are soon to become ancient history in their importance. I am a morning person who watches the morning night sky. In July a star appeared in the east, rising steadily over Goat Mountain, three hours later, as the morning glow begins to pierce the darkness, this star is 45 % above the horizon. All the normal array of stars have disappeared but this star keeps shining brightly, to finally disappear as the sun peeks over the horizon.

Now, in November this star rises to the south over 29 Palms. Is it a star or what? Another unusual star has appeared over Goat Mountain. This apparent star also keeps its shine until the sun rises above the horizon. This morning star, if my eyes do not deceive me, blinks red at times. What is going on in the heavens?

Could these two unusually appearing stars be planes, balloons, satellites or space stations? Or what? Could we be under surveillance from another world? Object 31/Atlas is getting stranger as it heads our way, soon to pass through our solar system in December. 31/Atlas has been a concern to astronomers because one day it has a tail but not every day. Now it also has a flashing blue light. The experts tell us that we will know, comet or other worldly explorers in the next few weeks.

Place your bets, the odds are about 50%!
