One might assume from the election results last night that Republican Senators playing nice doesn’t work in certain places. Obama played the shutdown strategy quite well, infuriating the small thinking voters in New Jersey, Virginia and New York City to punish those supposedly hard hearted Republicans. Virginia has Washington government workers who are sitting home without pay. New Jersey insanely voted against its own self-interest, more big expensive government to further burden the homeowners. New York City is the ultimate American divide between the rich and the poor, hungry people living in the midst of wealth do not play nice.
Obama is playing hardball so, Republican Senators, are the niceties still on the table?
