Jesus was not God nor did he ever claim to be God, but what he lived out was all about God. Jesus lived in the God place, the world of eternity in this world of woe. Did he do it perfectly, absolutely not but he was willing to take the tigers of this world by the tail. In so doing, Jesus showed all of us what life is really about. Life is about death and life is about humility. Death for God’s sake and blind humility for the sake of others. We are all adrift in this same boat.
